In Rope'n'Fly Lite, you play as a rope swinging ahh... person who looks an awful lot like a certain friendly neighborhood superhero, if you know what I mean. This guy is no superhero, though. In fact, if his little toe so much as lightly brushes the ground, he shatters into pieces.
Screenshots:
Controls are simple: tap a building to shoot a rope out, tap again to release the rope. Swing from building to building and see how far you can make it in thirty seconds.
I have to admit that a few minutes into playing, I was back at the app store to purchase the full version. In the full version, the object of the game is to see how far you can get, period. No time limits. This actually changes the way the game is played. In the lite version, with the time limit, it is better to time your swings for speed. In the full version, accuracy is key, as you need to last a lot longer than 30 seconds to rank on the online high scores.
This is a bare bones game right now, as it does not even have sound yet, but the developer promises cool features in the next update. I can only hope that a timed version of the game makes it in. One annoyance in the full version is that if you submit your score online and then choose to play again, the app closes. I will give Rope'n'Fly Lite a 7 out of 10, and the full version an 8 out of 10, as long as the promised updates come through in a timely manner.
