In I Dig It! it is your job to help Farmer Lewis collect things called diggins. In order to get the diggins, you must use the tractor that Lewis has converted into a mining machine. Drill down into the depths of the earth looking for prizes such as ores for precious metals, jewels, or soda cans and old tires. The deeper you dig, the more kinds of rare diggins turn up. Be sure to keep an eye on your fuel, temperature, and cargo space, though. Running out of fuel or overheating means game over.

I Dig It! is deeper (forgive the pun) than just digging down and collecting diggins. There is a score multiplier for collecting diggins consecutively, without digging an empty square of dirt. Take the diggins up to the house and Farmer Lewis will pay you for them. Take your money over to the garage and use it to upgrade your digging machine.
After the latest update, I Dig It! gives players ten game modes to choose from. In Campaign mode the goal is to raise $100,000 in four hours. Other modes have you doing things like looking for a spare tire, using dynamite in a rock filled level to find diamonds, or seeing how fast you can get 100,000 points. I Dig It! uses Facebook Connect so that you can brag to your friends how good you are. Players can check the warehouse to see how many diggins they have collected, look at the scorecard for stats like total tunnel length and total money earned. I Dig It! also boasts achievements for collecting all diggins in a certain category or reaching the center of the earth. I Dig It! is a fun game that translates perfectly on the iPhone/iPod touch. I will give I Dig It! a 9 out of 10.
